Parenting Connection Group

A brand new pilot program focusing on providing some fun break time for parents of neurodivergent children. This program will be running at the Reynella Neighbourhood Centre for 5 monthly meetings from June to November of 2025.

Each month a fun activity will be planned for parents to come together and share some conversation and distraction. Laugh together as we do activities, share ideas and chat to other parents; all while enjoying some evening snacks. At each meeting will be Katie Baylis, a developmental educator and NDIS advocate who can offer advice and direct parents to resources that may be useful.

In the next room a hosted child play space is offered so that parents who can't access experienced child supervision have access to care. Staff for the area will be from the team at Spectrum Connect who understand the support needs of Autistic and other ND children.
